    Pensioner Builds Tiny House Village for Women in Texas

    A 70-year-old retiree, Robyn Yerian, has built a community called 'The Bird’s Nest' in Cumby, Texas, consisting of tiny houses for women aged 60 and above. Yerian spent around 150,000 dollars (129,000 euros) to develop the property and prepare the land for the homes. The community has 14 spaces prepared for homes and currently houses 11 women, with around 500 on the waiting list.     Sunken City of Gölcük Revisited on Marmara Earthquake's 27th Anniversary

    On August 17, 1999, a diving expedition was conducted to the submerged area in Değirmendere coastal region of Gölcük district in Kocaeli, known as the 'sunken city,' following the Marmara earthquake. On the 27th anniversary of the earthquake, the remains of a hotel, pier, tea garden, and houses that were submerged in the earthquake were visualized underwater by municipal divers and DESSAT teams. The area is now used as a diving spot.
