Cyclone Flooding in Tomari, Sakhalin
A part of Tomari city on Sakhalin has been submerged under water due to a cyclone. The Tomarin River overflowed its banks, with water levels rising above 5 meters. The lower part of the city, roads, dachas, and residential houses have been flooded. Specialists are trying to divert the flow into the sea. A temporary accommodation point has been deployed for affected residents.
