    Thai Police Arrest Suspects in Disappearance of Russian Siblings

    Thai police have arrested two local residents suspected of involvement in the disappearance of a 22-year-old Russian woman, Diana, and her 17-year-old brother, Roman, in Pattaya. The siblings were last seen leaving home on a motorcycle on July 26. Their moped was later found buried in the woods near the house of a suspect, Thane (Pong) Kerdthong, who has a criminal record including convictions for kidnapping and weapons possession.     Turkey Secures Stake in Kirkuk Oil Field in Historic Energy Deal with Iraq
