CJP to Function as Pressure Group, Not Political Party

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), led by Abhijeet Dipke, has decided to function as a pressure group rather than forming a political party at present. Dipke stated that India currently needs a strong pressure group, and CJP will play that role. The party will focus on issues such as declining trust in institutions, ethanol-blended fuel, and rising unemployment. CJP will also support student protests in Jharkhand. The party's mentor, Sonam Wangchuk, will continue to advise them. CJP emerged from an online campaign started by Dipke in response to a Supreme Court statement comparing unemployed youth to cockroaches.
