For the first time since the start of the war, more Ukrainian men than women arrived in the Czech Republic in 2025. The number of Ukrainian men increased by over 21,000, reaching 132,000, while women still make up the majority at around 54%. This shift is attributed to Ukraine allowing men aged 18-22 to leave and the EU stopping visas for newly arrived conscriptable men.
