Spain's Prime Minister Demands EU Meeting Over Migrant Crisis Response

Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has officially filed a complaint with Brussels about the migrant crisis in Ceuta and has demanded an urgent meeting of the EU's interior ministers. Sánchez sent letters to European institutions, expressing 'serious concern' about the reaction of some European governments following the migrant crisis that originated in Ceuta. He believes some countries acted based on 'prejudices, false information, misconceptions or political interests' and called for a common response to reaffirm that the security of external borders is a shared responsibility.
