Nikolić Condemns Midnight Debate on Law on Arms as Greatest Parliamentary Scandal

Andrija Nikolić, head of the DPS parliamentary club, criticized the decision to hold a debate on the Law on Arms at midnight, calling it a serious example of political and institutional irresponsibility. He argued that the law, which affects gun owners and hunters, should not be passed without adequate public debate and dialogue with those directly affected. Nikolić stated that the DPS will not participate in the debate or propose discussants. He also mentioned the tragedies in Cetinje and the expectations of the families of the victims for a serious response from the state.
