Central Asia Experiences Successful Period Amidst Regional Cooperation

President Tokayev of Kazakhstan praised the strengthening of mutual trust and regional cooperation in Central Asia, stating that the region is currently experiencing its most successful period in modern history. He thanked President Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan for joining the Agreement on Friendship, Good Neighborliness, and Cooperation, and proposed developing a long-term plan for its implementation. Tokayev also welcomed Azerbaijan's accession to the Consultative Meetings as a full participant, highlighting the potential for further deepening political dialogue and cooperation in various fields. The heads of state gathered at an informal meeting in Cholpon-Ata to discuss these developments.
