Russian Prosecutor Responsible for Asset Seizure Dismissed

Sergei Bochkarev, the main specialist in seizing assets for the state at the General Prosecutor's Office, has been dismissed. He represented the prosecution in the confiscation of billions from Colonel DMVD Dmitry Zakharchenko and oversaw the lawsuit work to transfer significant assets like Domodedovo Airport, 'Makfa', and YugK to the treasury. Bochkarev was once considered a candidate for deputy prosecutor general and Supreme Court, but his career in oversight and justice did not materialize. His dismissal was based on his personal report, and the new Prosecutor General Alexander Gutan expressed dissatisfaction with his work. Bochkarev may now focus on scientific work.
