Italy Suspends Schengen Agreement with Spain Over Migrant Crisis in Ceuta

Italy has temporarily suspended the Schengen Agreement with Spain due to the migrant crisis in Ceuta. This decision follows a surge in migrants entering Ceuta from Morocco, with over 50,000 people crossing the border in a single day. Italy's Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, ordered the closure of borders after a meeting of the Committee on Immigration and Border Security Analysis. The move has been criticized by Spain, which summoned the Italian ambassador in response. Other European countries, including France, Germany, and Finland, have also expressed concern over the situation.
