IDF Destroys Key Hezbollah Tunnels in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have destroyed a significant portion of an underground tunnel network in the Bofor/Baufort Ridge area in southern Lebanon. The network, built over two decades with Iranian funding and planning, served as a central command post for Hezbollah's Badr/Bedir Unit, directing attacks against Israeli forces and civilians. The tunnels were located approximately 6 kilometers from Metula and the Galilee region, posing a threat to residents of northern Israel. The IDF operation used around 700 tons of explosives and was carried out following a Hezbollah drone attack on Israeli forces. The tunnels were destroyed using approximately 700 tons of explosives.
