Iran Claims Full Control Over Strait of Hormuz

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Ali Abdullahi, has asserted that the Strait of Hormuz is completely closed and under the strict surveillance of the Iranian military. He warned that any ship attempting to pass through the strait without Iranian arrangements would endanger its safety and incur heavy losses. During his visit to the coasts of the Arabian Sea, he also emphasized that the naval and ground forces of the army and the IRGC have full control and supervision over the open waters and coasts of the Arabian Sea.
