Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused the US of delaying the delivery of Patriot missiles that Ukraine has already paid for. Zelensky stated that the US is supplying Ukraine with only 12 intercept missiles for Patriot systems per month, roughly a quarter of the volume supplied under the Biden administration. According to Zelensky, the US is withholding approval for some of the supplies, and Ukraine is ready to stop attacking Russian oil refineries in exchange for additional Patriot missiles. However, the US does not agree to this. Ukrainian officials suspect that the delay is political in nature and may be a way to put pressure on Kyiv.
