Indra to Build Military Vehicle Plant in As Pontes

Spanish company Indra will establish a military vehicle production plant in As Pontes, Galicia. The factory, which will cost around $20.7 million, is expected to create between 70 and 120 direct jobs. The plant will assemble amphibious combat vehicles, bridge vehicles, and self-propelled artillery systems for the Spanish armed forces. Initially, the factory will occupy over 50,000 square meters of land with a built-up area of almost 15,000 square meters, allowing for the assembly of around 500 vehicles per year. Indra plans to expand the production area in the future with an investment of over $230 million.
