Malaysia Immigration Raids: 174 Foreigners, 6 Local Employers Detained in Selangor

The Malaysian Immigration Department conducted raids at nine locations in Seri Kembangan and Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor, detaining 174 foreign nationals and six local employers. The operation, involving 149 officers, checked 307 individuals and resulted in the arrest of nationals from Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, India, Bangladesh, Laos, Nepal, Cambodia, and Nigeria for offenses including misuse of passports, overstaying, and lack of valid travel documents. All detainees, aged between 2 and 46, were sent to the Semenyih Immigration Detention Depot.
