Houthi Offensive in Taiz

Ansarallah (Houthi) forces have launched a major offensive around Taiz, targeting supply routes used by Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces. The city and surrounding routes are strategically important as control could allow the Houthis to pressure supply lines connecting government forces to Aden and the southern coast. Clashes have intensified, with both sides reporting significant advances and losses. Air strikes by the Saudi-led coalition have also increased, targeting Houthi positions and reinforcements.
