Erling Haaland Sues Norwegian Airline Over Unauthorized Use of His Image

Erling Braut Haaland, the Norwegian football star, has filed a lawsuit against Norwegian Air Shuttle for allegedly using his likeness without permission in a World Cup advertising campaign. The airline used a photomontage featuring Haaland's signature ponytail on the tail of one of its planes. Haaland's lawyer accused the airline of 'unauthorized use' of his distinctive features, while the airline expressed surprise and regret, describing the case as 'difficult to understand'. The first court hearing is scheduled for October 9.
