After months of construction, Hamburg successfully installed a 3700-ton railroad bridge, the Stern Bridge, in Altona. The bridge, measuring 108 meters long and 21 meters wide, was transported through narrow streets and turned into its final position in the early hours of Saturday. It will become a 'landmark for the next 100 years' and is expected to carry trains by the end of August.
