Council of Peace Presents Roadmap for Trump's Gaza Plan Completion

The Council of Peace has published a roadmap for the completion of US President Trump's Comprehensive Plan for settlement in the Gaza Strip. The document provides for the phased fulfillment of obligations by Israel and Hamas under international control, based on Trump's plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803. Israel must complete its obligations under the Sharm el-Sheikh Protocol, including the cessation of military operations and full withdrawal of troops, while Hamas and other Palestinian groups undertake to cease military activities and transfer functions of civil management and security to the National Committee for the Management of Gaza (NCAG). The International Verification Committee (IVC) will oversee the implementation of the agreements and confirm the fulfillment of obligations by the parties before moving on to the next stage. After NCAG begins its work, it will deal with the restoration of state institutions, auditing the financial system, managing state assets, and gradually settling obligations with contractors and suppliers totaling up to $400 million over three years.
