Pakistan Aims to Revive US-Iran Talks

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has been actively engaged in efforts to revive negotiations between the United States and Iran. Spokespersons have repeatedly stated that Pakistan is 'doing its utmost' or 'making every effort' to bring both parties back to the negotiating table under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The talks, which were initially brokered by Pakistan, aim to normalize the situation, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz, and reduce escalation. Pakistan has urged both sides to exercise maximum restraint and fully commit to resuming technical talks under the MoU. Despite recent military actions, Pakistan confirms that negotiations are ongoing.
