Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant's Fourth Block Begins Energy Startup

The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNS) of Slovakia has given the green light for the start of the energy startup phase of the fourth block of the Mochovce nuclear power plant. This follows a thorough evaluation of the results of the physical startup and a check of the block's readiness. During the evaluation, minor deficiencies and deviations were identified, which are to be eliminated. The energy startup phase involves gradually increasing the reactor's performance and conducting further tests and measurements at higher power levels. The new unit is expected to provide Slovakia with a stable source of electricity, contributing to the country's energy security.
