ONPE Trains Election Officials, Prepares First-Time Voters for Regional and Municipal Elections 2026

The Office of National Electoral Processes (ONPE) is gearing up for the Regional and Municipal Elections 2026, scheduled for October 4. Key preparations include training election officials and educating first-time voters. ONPE will conduct two face-to-face training sessions for 12,348 election officials in Ica, Nasca, and Palpa provinces. Meanwhile, over 40,000 young people in Piura, particularly in Castilla, will vote for the first time. ONPE is providing guidance and resources to ensure a smooth electoral process.
