Fatal Accident on Bösebrücke: Car Plunges onto S-Bahn Tracks

A fatal accident occurred on the heavily trafficked Bösebrücke in northern Berlin when a car plunged from the bridge onto the tracks at Bornholmer Street S-Bahn station. The driver died at the scene despite resuscitation efforts by emergency services. The car had earlier lost control and crashed through the barrier of the bridge, which connects the districts of Gesundbrunnen and Prenzlauer Berg, falling onto the tracks below. The cause of the loss of control is still unknown. The accident led to disruptions in S-Bahn and tram services, with lines S2, S8, and S85 not stopping at the Bornholmer Straße station in either direction.
