Syrian Singer Assala Nasri Returns Home After 15 Years

Syrian singer Assala Nasri made a triumphant return to Damascus after 15 years of exile, performing at a sold-out concert titled 'Return of Authenticity'. The event, held at the Al-Fiha Sports Hall on September 17, was highly anticipated and marked Nasri's first performance in Syria since she publicly supported the 2011 uprising against the Assad regime. She sang patriotic songs, including 'Raise Your Head, You Are a Free Syrian', and released 'The Syrian Album', a collection of 14 songs inspired by Syrian heritage.
