Northern Vietnam Floods: Thousands of Homes Inundated, Three Dead

Heavy rains and floods in northern Vietnam have left thousands of homes inundated and at least three people dead. Rivers have crossed danger levels, with the Bui River threatening to flood homes in Hanoi. Over 2,000 homes have been flooded, blocking roads and isolating households. The floods have also submerged or destroyed approximately 10,000 hectares of rice fields and other crops, leading to the deaths of livestock and fish. Schools in affected provinces are closed, and soldiers have been deployed to help residents move their belongings to higher ground.
