Syrian-Turkish Relations Progress Rapidly, Erdogan Visit Soon

Syrian and Turkish foreign ministers met, discussing the rapid progress in their bilateral relations, including dozens of meetings, 40 agreements, and an institutional network connecting 22 Syrian ministries with their Turkish counterparts. They also talked about activating the Joint Higher Committee. Turkey's President Erdogan is expected to visit Syria soon. Both sides agreed to increase trade volume to $10 billion. The Syrian side emphasized the need for Israel's withdrawal from Syrian territory and commitment to the ceasefire agreement.
