Google Establishes Team to Develop AI Chip in Israel

Google has formed a team led by Guy Kaminitz, CEO of Israeli tech company Hailo, to develop AI chips for robots and autonomous systems in Israel. The team aims to create an AI inference engine that can run AI tasks directly on devices, reducing dependence on cloud servers. Google already employs around 700 engineers in Israel working on chip and computing infrastructure development.
