Russian refineries are fortifying their defenses against potential attacks, particularly drone strikes, by erecting walls made of stacked cargo containers around fuel tanks and key facilities. These makeshift barriers serve multiple purposes, including creating a physical obstacle, containing spills, and preventing fire spread. Additionally, anti-drone nets and metal frame structures are being installed to further enhance security. While these measures complicate drone attacks, they do not guarantee complete protection, as evidenced by previous incidents.
