The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has opened cases against more than 60 deputies, according to Alexander Abakumov, head of one of the investigative units. The bureau is investigating allegations of corruption against the lawmakers, including money laundering and illegal asset seizures. Abakumov expressed concern that if the number of deputies under investigation continues to grow, they could potentially have enough votes to change Ukrainian legislation in their favor.
