In separate incidents across Brazil, law enforcement agencies conducted operations targeting drug trafficking, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of drugs and related materials. In Belo Horizonte, a military police sergeant was shot during an operation that led to the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of a rifle, ammunition, and drugs. In Porteirinha, the Civil Police arrested a suspect and seized a pistol, drugs, and a vehicle. In Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo, a joint operation by Civil and Military Police resulted in the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of drugs worth over R$ 100,000. Meanwhile, in Itajaí, the Federal Police seized over 725 kilos of cocaine hidden under the floor of a house, leading to the arrest of a suspect.
