UK's Department for Education Hacked: 607,000 Records Leaked on Dark Web

Cybercriminals have breached the UK's Department for Education, stealing and leaking over 600,000 records containing personal data of government officials, university staff, and head teachers. The data includes names, job titles, email addresses, and phone numbers. The hacking group ExfilSquad has claimed responsibility. The incident is being investigated by the National Cyber Security Centre and the National Crime Agency. The Department for Education claims the data protection risk is low as the records are from different datasets.
