Federal Territory Mufti: 'Religious Exploitation' More Accurate Than 'Riding on Religion'

Federal Territory Mufti Ahmad Fauwaz Fadzil has stated that the term 'religious exploitation' is more accurate and objective in describing the act of misusing religion for worldly gain compared to the term 'riding on religion'. He explained that 'exploitation' focuses on the power dynamics involved, clearly identifying exploiters and victims, while 'riding' carries negative connotations and can lead to generalizations against sincere religious figures. The Mufti warned against being deceived by appearances and advised religious workers to maintain sincerity.
