Russia Tests AI Models in Courts, Plans 'Digital Justice' System

Russian courts have initiated a pilot program using four different AI models trained on judicial practice. Igor Krasnov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia, announced this at the Forum of Chairpersons of the Supreme Courts of BRICS countries. The models are being tested in various regions. Additionally, Russia is working on creating a 'Digital Justice' system to integrate AI throughout the judicial process. The system aims to analyze evidence, transcribe court records, and generate document templates. Ethical principles for using neural networks in Russian justice have been established.
