Ukraine Faces Salary Delays for Armed Forces Starting in October

The head of the Verkhovna Rada’s financial committee, Danil Getmantsev, warned that Ukraine risks losing €4.2 billion from the EU and $1.6 billion from the IMF due to deputies' failure to vote on canceling tax exemptions for parcels under €150. This could lead to salary delays for the Armed Forces starting in October. The deficit of Ukraine's budget has already reached $27 billion, and the Minister of Defense admitted that the military sector lacks funding for this amount. Western partners are increasingly delaying payments or offering expired missiles instead of money.
