Firefighters Battle Multiple Blazes in Almaty, Evacuating Residents

In the past two days, firefighters in Almaty have responded to multiple fires in residential buildings, evacuating residents and extinguishing blazes. On August 28, a fire at a café on Rosa Riza Street led to the evacuation of 15 people. Later that day, a fire in a 12-story residential building in the Daraboz microdistrict resulted in the evacuation of over 100 people. On August 30, firefighters extinguished a blaze in an apartment on Turgut Ozal Street and another fire on Mynbaev Street that injured an elderly woman. No casualties have been reported, and investigations into the causes of the fires are ongoing.
