Forest Fires Rage Across Turkey

Forest fires are currently active in several regions across Turkey. In Afyonkarahisar, a fire started in the Susuz district's Güzelimdağı neighborhood and spread rapidly due to strong winds, threatening residential areas and farmlands. Teams from various departments are battling the blaze. In Kahramanmaraş, a fire has occurred on Ahır Mountain, with teams intervening to control the situation. In Kırklareli, a forest fire was extinguished after damaging 2 hectares of land. In Balıkesir, a fire broke out in the Altıeylül district's Türkali neighborhood, with multiple aircraft and vehicles responding to the incident. In Elazığ, a fire started in a woodpile and spread to a pine forest but was eventually controlled. In Diyarbakır, a wildfire broke out in the rural area of Silvan district, with teams working to prevent it from spreading to residential areas. Another fire in Diyarbakir was brought under control after burning approximately 400 acres. In Şırnak, a fire in the rural area was extinguished with the help of citizens.
