Montenegro Warns of Hybrid Action to Destabilize and Delay EU Integration

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has issued a warning about coordinated hybrid action involving officials from at least two regional countries aimed at destabilizing Montenegro and delaying its European Union (EU) integration. The government has serious security operational information indicating that the upcoming closure of new negotiating chapters with the EU will be accompanied by these activities. Spajić specified that the goal is to destabilize Montenegro, with expected support from certain political actors and part of the media scene within the country. While Serbia and Albania have been named as potential involved countries, officials from both nations have denied any participation in such actions.
