Jharkhand Students Launch 'Recruitment System Reform Yatra' Against Corruption

Students in Jharkhand, led by Devendra Nath Mahato, have been protesting against corruption and irregularities in the recruitment process of JPSC and JSSC for over a month. They have announced a new phase of their movement, the 'Recruitment System Reform Yatra', which will cover all 24 districts of the state starting on August 24, 2026. The Yatra aims to secure justice for students and prove to be a pivotal struggle against the corrupt system. The launch event will feature tributes to activists and martyrs, the national anthem, and traditional customs.
