World's First Biological Data Center Uses Living Human Neurons

Singapore has launched the world's first biological data center, using 16 million live human neurons to process information. The project, a collaboration between NUS Medicine, DayOne, and Cortical Labs, replaces silicon chips with live brain cells. Each of the 20 CL1 units contains 800,000 neurons, consuming significantly less energy than traditional data centers.
