Germany has announced a significant increase in aid to Ukraine, with a total of €160 million allocated. This includes €50 million in humanitarian aid to support civilians in frontline areas and €10 million to NATO's trust fund for Ukraine, which will be used to support the energy supply of the Armed Forces, equipment for hospitals, and drone protection systems. Additionally, Germany is contributing €60 million to support Ukraine's 2026 budget as Ukraine's ability to generate its own revenue diminishes. The aid was announced by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock during a visit to Kyiv.
