Germany's Migrant Crime Crisis Explodes

Germany's federal government reported that 53% of suspects in 751 recorded gang rapes last year were foreign nationals, despite making up less than 17% of the population. The largest national groups among suspects were Syrians, Afghans, Iraqis, and Turks. Foreign nationals also accounted for around 45% of Germany's prison population in 2025. Between 2015 and 2024, nearly 938,000 people were registered as victims of suspects from ten major asylum-origin countries. In Berlin, a Lebanese-German man drove into a Pride event, killing one and injuring 31, after pledging allegiance to ISIS. He was previously convicted for preparing a serious act of violence and distributing ISIS propaganda but received a suspended sentence.
