Hong Kong Customs Arrests Two Opatra London Staff Over Aggressive Sales Tactics

Hong Kong customs officers have arrested two staff members from local branches of the skincare chain Opatra London over alleged coercive sales tactics. The arrests follow six complaints alleging high-pressure sales tactics involving up to HK$100,000. The Customs and Excise Department seized documents from a corporate office and suspects the company of violating the Trade Descriptions Ordinance. Two managers, a 42-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, were arrested and are suspected of violating the 'Trademark Act'. The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests have not been ruled out.
