Heat Warnings Across Regions: Orange and Yellow Alerts Issued

The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued heat warnings for several regions in the country from Thursday (20 August) to Sunday (24 August). Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 34 and 39 degrees, with heat and severe heat discomfort. An Orange Heat Warning is in effect for Banat, parts of Oltenia, Crișana, and Transylvania, while a Yellow Heat Warning covers Moldova, Maramureș, Muntenia, most of Transylvania, the north of Oltenia, and Crișana. In Moldova, temperatures may reach up to 36°C, with a yellow weather warning issued for most of the country. The heat wave is expected to bring 'tropical nights' with minimums not dropping below 20 degrees.
