Poland's Stance on Sending Patriot Missiles to Ukraine

Mariusz Blaszczak, Poland's former defense minister and current vice-chairman of the Law and Justice party, has spoken out against sending American Patriot missiles to Ukraine. He argued that Poland needs these missiles for its own defense system, describing them as a 'scarce commodity'. Blaszczak also criticized the idea of creating a 'European legion' for security, stating that 'the Polish army should be the basis for the security of our homeland'. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Defense Cezary Tomczyk confirmed that Poland has not made a decision on transferring Patriot missiles to Ukraine, and any such agreement would be secret if signed.
