Screenwriter Pavel Tetersky Leaves Russia After Arrest and Alleged Fabricated Charges

Pavel Tetersky, co-author of the novel 'More Ben' and screenwriter of series like 'Trotsky' and 'Good Person', left Russia after being released from administrative arrest. He was initially detained for 12 days on a minor hooliganism charge, with law enforcement alleging he kicked trash cans while intoxicated. However, Tetersky and his lawyer claim the charges were fabricated. Before his arrest, law enforcement officers conducted a multi-hour search of his apartment without finding any illegal items. During his detention, Tetersky was accused of 'actions of a terrorist nature' and forced to sign a commitment not to commit crimes against Russia's security. Tetersky believes law enforcement may have 'made a mistake' in targeting him.
