AirBaltic Unveils New Business Plan: Focus on Profitability and Fleet Reduction

The plan involves reducing the fleet size, focusing on profitable routes, and making Riga the main base. The airline aims to secure hundreds of millions in financing and targets a revenue of one billion euros by 2031. Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs supports the plan, stating that it provides a smaller fleet that fits the company's financial capabilities and focuses on profitability. However, the success of the plan depends on the support of creditors, interim financing, and potential private investors.
