18-Year-Old Nathan Thomas Becomes Youngest Male Professor

Nathan Thomas, an 18-year-old from Florida, has broken the world record by becoming the youngest male professor ever. He surpassed the previous record holder, Colin Maclaurin, who became a professor at 19 in the 18th century. Thomas began teaching lectures at Miami Dade College at the age of 18 years and 346 days. He also displaced Aalia Sabur, who had held the title for 18 years. Thomas' academic journey is remarkable; he was studying high school and college simultaneously at 10, graduated at 14, and earned a master's degree in electronic engineering by 20. He plans to work in patent law after pursuing legal education.
