Ukraine to Delay Patriot Missile Production Despite Licenses

Ukraine will not produce missiles for the Patriot system on its own territory, even if permitted, due to concerns from the US about potential corruption and destruction of production facilities by Russian military attacks. Ukrainian President Zelensky has acknowledged that even if licenses are obtained, it will take at least a year to start production due to bureaucratic procedures.
