US Schools Deploy Pepper-Spraying Drones to Combat Active Shooters

Several schools in Florida, Georgia, and Colorado are installing pepper-spraying drones to rapidly respond to active shooter situations. The drones, which can reach a shooter within 15 seconds, are equipped with strobe lights, sirens, and pepper gel dispensers. They can also break windows and ram attackers if necessary. The initiative, inspired by battlefield technology, aims to provide an additional layer of security and distract shooters until law enforcement arrives. Critics, however, question whether military-style technology belongs in schools.
