Argentina Receives Six More F-16 Fighter Jets
Argentina received six F-16 fighter jets from Denmark, bringing its total to 12. The aircraft, which traveled approximately 14,000 kilometers, were received by Defense Minister Carlos Presti and U.S. Ambassador Peter Lamelas at the Río Cuarto Material Area. The batch consists of four single-seat and two double-seat aircraft. Upon arrival, the fighters performed low-level flights in front of authorities. This delivery is part of Argentina's plan to restore its supersonic interception capacity, with the F-16s set to form the backbone of its area air defense system.8 sourcesSee all sources
